About Amber

My Story

I believe each of us has the power to influence others for good

Amber was inspired to write “Maddie’s Colors” by engaging in and listening to conversations regarding race and equality over the years. Amber is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has spent time on medical teams caring for orphans in India and Tanzania, as well as spending time at an orphanage in Honduras. She currently serves on the board for TOUCO, a non-profit orphanage in Tanzania. Amber believes that each of us has the power to influence others for good and that the “ripple effect” of kindness causes a gentle, far-reaching impact.
